BOARD

The Society is led by a Board comprising the President, Deputy President, Secretary, Treasurer, and eight other members who meet regularly to provide oversight and to ensure proper governance of the Society’s activities.

Aaron Low is CEO of Lumiq and Principal of Lumen Advisors. Previously, he was Head of Investments, Asia, at PIMCO, Allianz GI and Rosenberg Capital Mgmt (RCM). He is a Board Trustee of the Research Foundation and on boards of Guotai Junan Funds, WIT Capital, HashKey Capital, and the Journal of Futures Market. He was Chairman of the Board of Governors of CFA Institute from 2014-2015, and previous Chair of the Capital Markets Policy Council, and Trustee of the Government of Singapore Pension Fund.

Elizabeth Chau

Elizabeth Chau is a Head of Balance Sheet Management Group at GIC Pte Ltd. She is responsible for centralised liquidity management, funding, and securities financing.

She sits on GIC’s Currency Risk Management Committee, which oversees strategic currency exposures across the total portfolio.

She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore and is a CFA charter holder.

Keoy Soo Earn leads the Global Deloitte Private Financial Advisory practice. Concurrently, he also leads Southeast Asia Deloitte Private and Private Equity practice.

Outside of Deloitte, he has served as a Board member and Audit Committee Chairman of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore. He was also a workgroup founding member and council member of the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers of Singapore.

Soo Earn is currently serving as a member of the Copyright Tribunals, Ministry of Law of Singapore. He is also a member of the Fintech & Capital Market Consultative Committee of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Kuala Lumpur & Selangor.

Active in the community, he is currently serving as a Board Director of NTUC First Campus, a Council Member of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore, a Board Member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Singapore and a Board member of Singapore Agro-Food Enterprises Federation Limited. He is also an advisor to the Singapore Chapter of AIESEC.

Manraj S. Sekhon

Manraj Sekhon, CFA, is the chief investment officer for Franklin Templeton Emerging Markets Equity. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2018, Mr Sekhon served as chief executive and CIO of Fullerton Fund Management in Singapore. He began his career at Mercury Asset Management (now part of BlackRock) in London in 1994 and also previously worked with Invesco Asset Management and Henderson Global Investors.
