The CFA Society Singapore University Ethics Challenge is a competition between university-sponsored teams that analyse a case which contains a variety of ethical dilemmas faced by investment professionals.
The challenge embodies the mission of CFA Society Singapore and CFA Institute by promoting “the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence” in the investment profession and preparing students for the ethical dilemmas they may face in their careers.
How it Works
Teams are judged on the ability to identify violations of the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, explain why they are violations, and suggest solutions or approaches to resolving the violations.
Form a team of three undergraduates from the same university.
Attend the Kick-off Meeting where guidance and training will be provided.
Register your team for the challenge. A case study will be released to the team via registered email.
Teams present their analysis and recommendation to a panel of judges at the Semi-Finals.
