Types of Membership

A CFA Society Singapore membership demonstrates your commitment to professional excellence and ethical practice within the investment profession.

Membership pathways include Charterholder Membership, Professional Membership, Affiliate Membership, and Associate Membership, depending on your qualifications and career stage.

Through access to professional learning opportunities, industry engagement initiatives, and local and global networks of investment professionals, members are empowered to stay ahead of evolving market trends while contributing meaningfully to the future of the profession.

Membership Fees

Membership (both CFA Society Singapore and CFA Institute) fees are payable in US dollars together with applicable CFA Institute membership fees through your CFA Institute account. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Membership dues are subject to prevailing GST where applicable.

Who Is This For?

For distinguished individuals who have demonstrated professional excellence by completing the CFA® Program

For experienced investment industry professionals who want to deepen their impact and stay current as the industry evolves.

Individuals who are not qualified for the CFA charter or Professional membership can align with CFA Institute and take advantage of member benefits through Affiliate membership.

For early career finance professionals who seek a foundation and access point into the investment industry and community.

Eligibility Complete all three levels of CFA Program, have at least 4,000 hours of qualifying work experience accrued in a minimum of 36 months, and provide three references (or two if one of your references is a Professional member of the society to which you are applying).

Have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), a passing score for the Level I CFA Exam, CIPM® Program Level II Exam, RBA Netherlands exam, or the self-administered Standards of Practice exam or be an ASIP holder., and 4,000 hours of relevant work experience completed over at least 36 months.

Affiliate Membership may be granted to individuals involved in activities closely related to investment decision-making and financial analysis, subject to approval by the Society’s Board or Membership Committee.

Current or past participation in a CFA Institute educational program (CFA® Program, CIPM® Program, or any Certificate) is required for eligibility.

Prorated Membership Fees
The first year annual dues for regular and affiliate membership will be prorated for those joining CFA Institute and CFA Society Singapore for the first time, and will vary depending on the month they join. Use CFA Institute’s prorated membership fee chart to understand what your membership will cost.

The annual fee for associate membership cannot be prorated and/or transferred to another person or society.
